Hope For Us
Self-Released EP, 4/24/12

Adrian Krygowski accompanies his audience on a journey, both musically and figuratively, with his new EP ‘Hope for Us”. The record, at turns buoyant in love and resolute in the face of hardship, epitomizes how the singer-songwriter’s life on the road has informed his passionate brand of storytelling. His songs conjure the punkinflected folk of The Avett Brothers and the “Americana Soul” of Delta Spirit, while his inimitable vocal cadence draws comparisons to The Tallest Man on Earth and The Hold Steady's Craig Finn. The EP was produced by Ed Pettersen (Song of America) and features the vocal talents of acclaimed singer-songwriter Garrison Starr (Margaret Cho, Geffen), and keyboard/piano sounds of Al Hill (Bettye Lavette). Taken to the road for a 30 date nationwide tour, three CD Release cities (DC, Nashville, Chicago) including showcases at SXSW, as part of his 250+ shows since 2009.
“Hope For Us” is a collection of six songs focusing on themes of growth, redemption, and reconciliation. These sketches demonstrate his new-found range and maturity, the recollections of a man who has lived, loved and lost, and who has found his calling in the connections he makes with audiences across the country. “This EP is a huge transition in how I write and record”, he explains, adding “I see it as a reflection of the next generation of my music moving forward.”

Road on the Left
Self-Released EP, 11/21/10

‘Road on the Left’ is a departure from Adrian’s prior acoustically-oriented solo work. The album features Washington DC players Jean Finstad on upright bass, Mark Williams on lead guitar, Tommy Lepson on organ, Jon Ozment on piano, Mike Smirnoff on percussion and Jason Chmiola on digital effects. Produced by Jason Chmiola & Adrian Krygowski at Kensington, Maryland’s Blue House studios, the EP is a culmination of years of hard work.
His moniker, “Hardkor”, was bestowed upon him by bassist Jean & Mandy Finstad, and it improbably stuck with Adrian. A regular on the East coast music scene, Adrian has supported artists such as Joe Shade of the legendary CBGB’s band The Sic Fucks. Now with the completion of his first full-band album, he is set to showcase his boundless energy, ambition and talent to the world.
